Principal's Message
As we come to the close of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we've shared and express my heartfelt gratitude to each member of our school community.
This year has been one of growth, resilience, and achievement. Our students have worked hard, challenged themselves, and supported one another through every triumph and obstacle. I am incredibly proud of their progress, both academically and personally.
To our dedicated teachers and staff—thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence and for fostering a learning environment where every child can thrive. To our families, thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust. Your involvement is a vital part of our success.
As we head into summer, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. Whether you're planning an adventure or enjoying a quiet staycation, may the break be safe and restorative.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the fall, ready for a new year filled with promise and potential. Best wishes for all our 8t grade students as they start their next chapter as an Elkins High Tiger!
With the uncertainty of personnel and what the future holds for Randolph County Schools, scheduling has been delayed. However, I have begun working on things with the directives and details provided by county administration. Requests for certain teams or teachers cannot be honored.
Just a reminder — students are expected to be at school every day through June 4th, even if they aren't taking an end-of-year exam!
West Virginia law requires us to take attendance daily, and every day still counts for learning, celebrating achievements, and getting ready for next year.
Let's keep showing up, working hard, and making these last few weeks the best yet! Thank you for helping us support your child's success!
Wishing you all a wonderful summer!
