Katrina Riggleman, Robotics & Drones Instructor
I am delighted to introduce myself as your Robotics & Drones Instructor at the Randolph Technical Center. After 30 years I have returned to my hometown, and I am thrilled to guide students on their journey into the world of robotics & drones.
A little bit about myself: I am passionate about robotics, technology, cybersecurity, drones, artificial intelligence, and the incredible possibilities they bring to your educational future. My background includes teaching IT, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Microsoft Applications and Design. I have multiple industry certifications including ITS- Cybersecurity, MTA-Security Fundamentals, MOS-Word & PowerPoint, and Microsoft Certified Educator in Technology Literacy. I also have my FAA107 sUAS pilot license!
In this Robotics and Drones program, we won't just be learning about gears, circuits, and programming – we'll be diving headfirst into the realm of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. My goal is to inspire you to think critically, work collaboratively, and, most importantly, have fun while exploring the fascinating world of robotics.
