The Electrical Technology program at Randolph Technical Center is geared towards preparing students for careers as electricians, electrical technicians, or for further studies in electrical engineering. This curriculum is based on the National Electrical Code Curriculum program and covers a wide range of topics including the fundamentals of electricity, electrical circuitry, safety protocols, and the use of various electrical tools and equipment. Students are also taught about the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The curriculum is a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on training, enabling students to develop a strong foundation in electrical principles as well as real-world skills.
